Your mission
  • Experienced in configuring and deploying off-the-shelf radio and data link systems for wireless communication and data transfer
  • Proficient in software flashing, ground station operation, and subsystem integration
  • Evaluate and optimize radio/data link system performance, including signal quality, bandwidth, and reliability measurements
  • Continuously improve the current radio/data link setup
  • Keep track of system changes through proper configuration management
  • Manage software and hardware interfaces
  • Handle and maintain required licenses (e.g., MAN IA, MAN IC)
  • Flash firmware for radio modules and flight control systems; configure, integrate, and operate Ground Support Systems
  • Support the flight test team during integration and testing activities
Qualifications
  • Background in wireless communication systems, embedded systems, or systems integration, with practical experience configuring and testing radio/data link modules
  • Experience with Linux-based systems (e.g., Ubuntu) and scripting in Python
    Proficiency in C/C++ programming
  • Solid electronics knowledge and hands-on experience setting up hardware systems
  • Familiarity with ArduPilot, PX4, or similar autopilot software, along with their corresponding ground station
    applications (e.g., Mission Planner, QGroundControl)
