About Us
STARK is a new kind of defence technology company revolutionizing the way autonomous systems are deployed across multiple domains. We design, develop and manufacture high performance unmanned systems that are software-defined, mass-scalable, and cost effective. This provides our operators with a decisive edge in highly contested environments.
We’re focused on delivering deployable, high-performance systems—not future promises. In a time of rising threats, STARK is bolstering the technological edge of NATO Allies and their Partners to deter aggression and defend Europe—today.

Your mission
Create a unified digital product that reflects what’s actually flying—and make sure it’s
ready for audit, documentation, and handover into production.
Responsibilities
  • Own the system architecture of our unmanned systems, merging insights from prototyping into a stable, scalable baseline.
  • Align and track all subsystems (mechanical, propulsion, avionics, software, payload) within a structured configuration and version control framework
  • Ensure that the digital twin (CAD, BOMs, wiring schematics, software versions, and
test configurations) accurately reflects the physical aircraft
  • Deliver production-grade documentation including ICDs, requirements, system
diagrams, and change history for audits and handover
  • Lead internal technical reviews and support smooth cross-functional transitions
between design, test, and manufacturing teams
  • Act as the technical anchor point for readiness-to-produce decisions and long-term
    product traceability
  • Collaborate closely with project, flight test, and quality teams to ensure compliance,
    accountability, and readiness for scale-up
Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in systems engineering, preferably in aerospace, defence, robotics, or complex electromechanical products
  • Proven experience managing multidisciplinary configurations (hardware + software + documentation)
  • Familiarity with tools for configuration and version control (e.g., PLM/PDM systems, Git, Excel-based BOM tracking)
  • Strong documentation and traceability discipline with a bias toward clean handovers and audit-readiness
  • Experience transitioning systems from R&D prototype to production baseline
  • Excellent communication and cross-team coordination skills
  • German or English fluency required; both preferred
