About Us

STARK is a new kind of defence technology company revolutionizing the way autonomous systems are deployed across multiple domains. We design, develop and manufacture high performance unmanned systems that are software-defined, mass-scalable, and cost effective. This provides our operators with a decisive edge in highly contested environments.

We’re focused on delivering deployable, high-performance systems—not future promises. In a time of rising threats, STARK is bolstering the technological edge of NATO Allies and their Partners to deter aggression and defend Europe—today.

Your mission

Llead the integration, configuration, and troubleshooting of all airborne electronics in our next-gen UAV platforms. You’ll work closely with systems, flight control, and propulsion engineers to deliver robust, testable avionics configurations that scale from prototype to production.

This is a workshop-based, technical role with real influence on how our UAVs are wired, powered, instrumented, and flown.

Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end avionics stack for specific airframes (flight controllers, radios, power systems, telemetry, etc.)

  • Assemble, wire, and configure new airframes in close collaboration with technicians and systems engineers

  • Configure and maintain flight software and mission system parameters (e.g., ArduPilot, PX4, QGC/MissionPlanner)

  • Lead the troubleshooting of hardware/software issues during integration and test flights

  • Maintain and document avionics configuration baselines across platforms

  • Support the systems team with wiring diagrams, avionics layouts, and update logs

  • Contribute to risk reviews, change control, and flight readiness assessments

Qualifications
  • 3–5+ years of experience with UAV or aerospace electronics, ideally on real flight platforms

  • Hands-on experience with flight control systems (e.g., Cube, Pixhawk, MicroPilot, DJI Enterprise, etc.)

  • Familiarity with UAV wiring, power distribution, CAN/UART/I2C buses, and telemetry systems

  • Ability to build, solder, test, and troubleshoot avionics and electrical systems in-house

  • Comfortable in workshop settings, field test environments, and interdisciplinary teams

  • Good documentation practices; familiarity with wiring diagrams and version control
