Our Product Roadmap team collaborates closely with executive leadership, program teams, and external stakeholders to ensure that we build the right capabilities, at the right time, and with the highest rigor.
Your mission
As a core member of the Product Roadmap team, you will bring deep quantitative rigor to the evaluation of defense markets, procurement programs, and potential product trajectories. Your role is to ensure we don’t operate on intuition alone but on meticulously modeled forecasts, risk assessments, and economic analysis.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor, collect, and analyze defense procurement data, budgets, expenditure reports, and government funding programs across NATO and partner states

  • Build and maintain financial / economic models (OPEX, CAPEX, lifecycle costs) at both product-level and portfolio-level

  • Estimate probabilities of winning tenders, and model revenue / margin scenarios under different assumptions

  • Perform scenario analyses, sensitivity analyses, and risk quantification for strategic product directions

  • Track defense capability developments (weapon systems, payloads, sensors, munitions) and benchmark competitor products

  • Interpret large volumes of defense policy, procurement documentation, RFPs, and parliamentary bills; extract actionable numbers

  • Collaborate with Strategy & Operations Analyst to integrate quantitative outputs into coherent narrative recommendations

  • Provide regular updates, dashboards, and forecasting to leadership and stakeholders


Qualifications
  • Master’s or PhD (preferred) in Economics, Defense Studies, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or related quantitative discipline

  • 3+ years of quantitative / economic modeling experience (ideally in defense / government / consulting)

  • Strong analytic skills and comfort working with large datasets

  • Demonstrated experience in building predictive and financial models

  • Background or understanding of defense systems, weapon systems, aerospace, or military capability development

  • Excellent writing and communication to translate quantitative findings into strategic recommendations

  • Proficiency in Excel, Python / R / MATLAB / SQL / data tools

  • Fluency in English; German or another European language a plus

  • Ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize analyses, and drive work cycles in a fast-moving environment
