Perform CFD and lower-fidelity aerodynamic simulations.
Analyze and assess aerodynamic concepts across various design stages.
Develop, model, and validate aerodynamic characteristics for flight dynamics.
Define, develop, and assess aerodynamic analysis methodologies.
Plan and execute wind tunnel test campaigns.
Conduct system identification and model verification using flight test data.
Collaborate closely with program engineering and other aerodynamic engineers on specific development tasks.
Bachelor´s or Masters degree in aerospace engineering, or similar relevant areas of expertise
+6 years of experience working in similar positions.
Proven experience with CFD and low-fidelity aerodynamic methods.
Solid understanding of fluid dynamics and aerodynamic principles.
Strong analytical and reporting skills for aerodynamic studies.
Hands-on experience with wind tunnel testing.
Previous experience as a Flight Dynamics Engineer or in a similar role.
Track record of contributing to projects that reached the testing or production stage.
Excellent communication skills in English. German will be considered a plus.
Nice to have:
Strong data analysis skills in environments such as Python or MATLAB.
Coding skills for automation and tool development.
