Enhance the fidelity of our flight dynamics models and simulation capabilities, as well as mentoring other team members on model architecture, structured data analysis, and best engineering and modelling practices.
Develop and refine flight dynamics models to improve simulation accuracy and performance.
Analyze flight test data to perform system identification and validate model behavior.
Define and evolve the overall model architecture within the simulation environment.
Coach and mentor team members working alongside you on model development.
Investigate and resolve engineering challenges related to simulation performance and model fidelity.
Build and maintain simulation programs to replicate product–environment interactions without real-world testing.
Develop models primarily in MATLAB/Simulink, with integration of C code where required.
Collaborate closely with the GNC team and program engineering teams to support simulation-related needs across projects.
Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in aerospace engineer or similar relevant areas of expertise
+6 years of experience in similar positions.
Proven experience in dynamic systems modeling and aircraft simulation.
Strong proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink.
Expertise in data analysis and system identification — extracting system behavior and parameters from test data.
Demonstrated contribution to projects that reached a tested or operational stage .
Excellent communication skills in English. German will be considered a plus.
Experience with deployment and integration of simulation models (CI/CD).
Programming skills (e.g., C, Python, or other languages) for task automation and model enhancement.
Strong reporting and documentation skills to communicate complex technical insights clearly.
