About Us

STARK is a new kind of defence technology company revolutionizing the way autonomous systems are deployed across multiple domains. We design, develop and manufacture high performance unmanned systems that are software-defined, mass-scalable, and cost effective. This provides our operators with a decisive edge in highly contested environments.

We’re focused on delivering deployable, high-performance systems—not future promises. In a time of rising threats, STARK is bolstering the technological edge of NATO Allies and their Partners to deter aggression and defend Europe—today.

Your mission

You will own the system-level design and integration of RF / data link solutions across multiple aerial and CUAS programs.
Your mission is to ensure reliable, secure, and robust radio communication by working hands-on with hardware systems, vendors, and program teams from architecture definition through integration, testing, and deployment.

This role is focused on execution and system ownership, not pure software or protocol development.

Responsibilities
  • Own RF / data link system architecture, selection, and integration across programs

  • Act as technical interface to radio and data link manufacturers

  • Define and validate system requirements, trade-offs, and performance targets

  • Ensure robust operation with respect to range, latency, redundancy, and RF environment constraints

  • Support integration, flight test, and operational deployment activities

  • Drive cross-program consistency and reuse of RF / data link solutions

  • Contribute to documentation, certification readiness, and technical decision-making

  • Depending on seniority: provide technical leadership or mentoring within the team

Qualifications
  • Strong experience in RF communications and data link systems

  • Proven track record integrating radio systems into complex aerospace or defense platforms

  • Solid understanding of RF fundamentals (antennas, propagation, interference, link budgets)

  • Hands-on experience working with external vendors and system suppliers

  • System-level mindset with the ability to operate independently in a senior role

Nice to have:

  • Experience with UAS / CUAS / missile or mission-critical systems

  • Exposure to contested or EW-relevant RF environments

  • Prior team lead or technical mentoring experience

  • Familiarity with flight test or system validation environments
