In-House Video Editor & Motion Designer

About Us

STARK is a new kind of defence technology company revolutionising the way autonomous systems are deployed across multiple domains. We design, develop, and manufacture high-performance unmanned systems that are software-defined, mass-scalable, and cost-effective. This provides our operators with a decisive edge in highly contested environments.

We are focused on delivering deployable, high-performance systems, not future promises. In a time of rising threats, STARK is bolstering the technological edge of NATO Allies and their Partners to deter aggression and defend Europe today.

Your mission

We are looking for a Midweight/Senior Video Editor & Motion Designer to join our in-house visual content team. You will be a true editorial partner who owns the post-production pipeline end-to-end, working closely with the Head of Design & Brand and the Visual Content Manager.

We aren't looking for someone to just take orders and stitch clips together. You will be a creative collaborator who pushes back on direction, offers "Plan B" solutions on the timeline, and understands how to visualize invisible engineering and raw performance in a way that feels natural, not forced.

Responsibilities

  • Own the edit from ingest to final delivery for high-end campaigns, technical deep-dives, and social assets.

  • Craft compelling stories that communicate the nuances of complex hardware and autonomous systems.

  • Handle professional color grading (utilizing ACES/DWG workflows) and immersive sound design natively within DaVinci Resolve.

  • Design and animate clean, functional 2D graphics and technical overlays that explain data and engineering concepts clearly.

  • Create large-scale motion design assets for trade show LED screens and global advertising campaigns.

  • Work with 3D product renders to composite them naturally into live-action shots, ensuring a seamless blend of digital and physical assets.

  • Actively contribute to the creative process by identifying narrative problems and proposing superior editorial solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bring 5–10 years of experience shaping stories within the outdoor, technical hardware, or high-performance lifestyle industries.

  • Operate as a DaVinci Resolve Expert by using the platform as your "home base" for high-end editing, professional color grading, and sound design.

  • Demonstrate After Effects Fluency through the creation of technical overlays and motion graphics that elevate the broader narrative.

  • Showcase 3D Proficiency as an added bonus, specifically with tools like Blender, Cinema 4D, Houdini, or Unreal Engine for complex compositing.

  • Apply your Technical Sensibility to effectively market complex physical products and visualize high-performance engineering concepts.

  • Maintain a Collaborative Mindset in our fast-paced environment, where you’ll provide creative push-back and meaningful editorial insight.

  • Present a Portfolio/Reel that highlights a keen eye for pacing, color, and the use of motion design to enhance storytelling.

How to Apply

If this sounds like the kind of work you want to be doing, we'd love to see your reel. We are mainly looking to understand your sense of pacing, your eye for color, and how your motion work supports the broader story.

If you have any "Before & After" breakdowns of your grades or compositing, please include them, we love seeing how our team builds their work.
