Marketing & Events Specialist
About Us
We are focused on delivering deployable, high-performance systems, not future promises. In a time of rising threats, STARK is bolstering the technological edge of NATO Allies and their Partners to deter aggression and defend Europe today.
Your mission
You'll gain hands-on experience in an international Defence & Security environment, helping build STARK's communications presence through events, exhibitions, conferences, and marketing activations.
Working side by side with our international marketing, communications, and event management team, you'll shape the brand's voice at key industry events across Ukraine from day one. You'll be part of a team united by one mission: to bring our Victory closer and to defend what matters.
Responsibilities
Own STARK's presence at exhibitions, conferences, career fairs, and partner events — from first idea to post-event report;
Scout and evaluate relevant events across defence, security, and tech;
Handle on-the-ground logistics, attendee lists, and communication at venues;
Prepare briefings, checklists, and event plans — and after the event, measure KPIs and run the feedback session;
Create marketing materials: presentations, brochures, one-pagers, merch, booth assets;
Keep our marketing and event asset library organised and up to date;
Manage external event and marketing agencies and contractors;
Sync with marketing and copywriting teams to align messaging, tone, and visual expression of the brand.
Qualifications
Experience in or a real passion for event management, marketing communications, or PR (1+ year is a plus — agency, in-house, or volunteer projects all count);
Ukrainian as your native language and professional-level English, written and spoken — you're comfortable creating content and communicating in both;
A structured mind and an eye for detail: you can juggle several projects, deadlines, and contractors without dropping quality;
Strong people skills — you find common ground easily with partners, cross-functional teammates, and external agencies;
Proactive and ready to take ownership, from generating ideas to making things happen on the ground;
Confident with everyday tools for building decks and materials (Google Workspace / MS Office / Confluence; a working grasp of Figma, Canva or similar is a plus);
Willing to travel within Ukraine and abroad to support events;
Genuine interest in defence tech;
You share our team's values and our commitment to supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
